Sentence fragments from the Text & Storytelling course: What do they tell us about the rest of the story? How do they work when removed from their context? Selected according to their dramaturgical potential, restaged and combined, many of our sentences have an unexpected effect. Let's use them in a new way.

Text Telling Stories are created from quotes from students. Distributed between two people, they may become a dialog. When commented on or combined, they tell new stories. What happened before, what happened after? Individually or together, the texts can be used as reading material, conversation starters, messages or eye-catchers, calls for help, signs, statements - as a starting point for your own stories.
Or quite simply: as postcards.

Edited, curated and designed by Sonja Knecht as part of the Text & Storytelling course in the Klasse Kampagnen at the UdK Berlin. The present 20 motifs plus title motif follow Edition #1 and were selected after two further semesters (winter 2023/24 and summer 2024) from texts by Sonja Knecht's students together with a student editorial team.
