Hoodie “The big w(e)ave”

For many people, the hoodie is synonymous with "home". For cosiness and the feeling of being safe. This is also the case for designer Haleh Afshar. When choosing the material for her hoodie, she used a tablecloth that she had at home and brought back from her homeland, Iran. For Haleh Afshar, the material, the pattern and the colours of the Iranian fabric are a sign of home more than anything else. The design is kept simple so as not to distract from the concept. The hood and sleeves of the hoodie are made of a vintage hoodie and a soft fabric reminiscent of a blanket, rounding off the "home" theme.
