About us

From UdK Laden to UdK:shop

The idea to sell products of UdK Berlin students online is not new and was born in 2001 from a student project, "UdK Laden." Twenty years later, this finally became the UdK:shop. In 2020, the team of the Marketing and University Events Department of the UdK Berlin - Dr. Michaela Conen (Head), Insa Ruckdeschel (Project Manager), and Mona Völkel (Trainee) joined forces with teachers and students of the Design for Business and Advertising class of the Visual Communication course (Faculty of Design). And a new digital place was created where the works of UdK Berlin students are presented and sold. They completed the strategy in three semesters from 2020 to 2021, and the UdK:shop went online in October 2021.
