The "Basics Blog Post" is an annual postcard collection initiated and curated by the Basics Blog.

The blog is a platform for information and documentation of the Basics, the basics of designing visual communication at the UdK Berlin. For issue #04, ten motifs were selected that were created during an open call of the student seminar "Bye Bye Basics", led by Stefanie Messner and Jean-Noël Teschauer.
The for the time being last edition of the postcard set deals with the appearance of the blog and the project documentation of the last years. In addition to material and form experiments, the postcards include visual explorations of the editorial formal language of the Basics Blog.
